Located in the heart of Cadboro Bay village, this beachy bungalow was reimagined to better suit the needs of a growing family. We transformed the formerly segmented kitchen, dining, and living areas into a bright, wide-open space that feels both expansive and welcoming—perfect for everyday living and casual entertaining.

A key part of the transformation was addressing the home’s low, cramped-feeling 8-foot ceilings. These were replaced with a new vaulted roof truss system, dramatically increasing the sense of volume and allowing natural light to move freely throughout the space. The result is an interior that feels airy, relaxed, and connected to its coastal surroundings.
