JASMINE

For this 1940’s cottage-style house, the clients tasked us with modernizing and expanding the home with an emphasis on more natural light, which was high on their wish list. We began demolition and quickly realized that only one wall and the foundation had any structural integrity. An addition to the rear was added that created a vaulted-ceilinged great space that included the living room, dining area, and a custom kitchen. Upstairs and separated from the main living areas, a beautiful primary bedroom and ensuite was also given the vaulted ceiling treatment. Back on the main floor, we added 2 more bedrooms and a sumptuous bathroom. Rounding out the project on the exterior, we installed a mix of shingles with board and batten siding and a timber-framed entry to give the new home a timeless feel.
